3 Sun Kissed Cocktails

Summer is the best time of the year for tasty cocktails, so what better way to celebrate the sun than with sunshine inspired drinks? Our three featured sun kissed cocktails have ingredients that have been touched by the sun and will leave your taste buds happy and refreshed. Our featured alcohol is also made from sun grown ingredients, as CIROC is crafted from fine French grapes.

CIROC Lola
 
Recipe type: Cocktail
Serves: 1

Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz. CIROC Vodka
  • 1.5 oz. pomegranate juice
  • .25 oz. elderflower liqueur
  • Top with .25 oz. champagne
Juice
  • 4 large pomegranates
  • 2 cups of water

Instructions
  1. For The Juice: Place seeds in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; seal, pressing as much air as possible out of bag. Gently mash seeds with a rolling pin or bottom of a bottle.
  2. Place mashed seeds, juice, and water in a medium nonreactive saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes. Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids.
  3. Stir all ingredients over ice to chill and strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass. Top with champagne.

 

Hot Mama
 
Recipe type: Cocktail
Serves: 1

Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz. CIROC Coconut
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 slice of a jalapeño
  • 3 oz. watermelon juice
  • Watermelon wedge
Juice
  • ½ seedless watermelon
  • 16 ice cubes
  • 1 liter of flavored lemon soda

Instructions
  1. For The Juice: Puree about half of the watermelon with 8 ice cubes.
  2. Slowly add half the lemon soda to the blender and mix. Next, pour into glasses. Repeat this process with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Combine all ingredients in martini shaker. Shake well. Strain into glass over ice.

 

Berry Ginger Lemonade
 
Recipe type: Cocktail
Serves: 1

Ingredients
  • 1 oz. CIROC Red Berry
  • 2.5 oz. lemonade
  • 1 slice of ginger
  • Splash of soda
  • Lemon wheel and a raspberry
Juice
  • 5 to 6 lemons
  • ½ to ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 4 cups water

Instructions
  1. For The Juice: Blend together the lemons, sugar, ice and water.
  2. Combine ingredients in martini shaker. Shake well.
  3. Strain into highball glass over ice. Top with club soda.
