Nissin Top Ramen Italian Scramble

Top Ramen for breakfast? Heck, yah! Lunch or supper, too. That’s the great thing about good ol’ scrambled eggs. They go great any time! On its own this scramble would only deliver you protein and some veggies. With the addition of the Nissin Top Ramen noodles you can replace the carbs you burned off hiking the trail or climbing that rock face, too.

Nissin Top Ramen Italian Scramble
Recipe type: Any Time
Serves: 3-4 servings

  • 1 pack of Nissin Top Ramen chicken flavor
  • ½ lb. ground turkey Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (1/2 of standard can)
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled, finely diced
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • salt

  1. Prepare one pack Nissin Top Ramen chicken flavor per instructions on packet. Set aside.
  2. Brown turkey sausage in skillet until no longer pink.
  3. Add diced pepper, onion, garlic, and tomatoes.
  4. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Mix in prepared Top Ramen, eggs, and fresh cracked pepper.
  6. Season to taste.
  7. Stir frequently until eggs are thoroughly cooked.
  8. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Turn off heat and cover until cheese melts.
  10. Serve.
