Appearance: At first glance the AVEX looks like many others on the market. It has the hard impact resistant material, a curved body ergonomically fit your hand and holds 25 ounces of water. Coming in 10 different colors, it gives options for everyone. This version does is not insulate but other in the Brazos collection are. The real difference is in the screw on lid, it is easy to pour and seals every time. It comes with a convenient clip-on handle that attaches to gear and even has a flip lid to cover the mouth opening to keep dirt out.
Ease Of Use: To say this is the easiest water bottle we’ve ever operated may sound weird, but it’s true. The lid is really what sets this bottle apart. It screws on tightly, doesn’t leak and has an AutoSeal lid that seals between sips. To grab a drink just push on the large button on the back of the lid and a small opening is created at the front to sip from. It is such a smooth pour that it has legitimately increased the amount of water we drink in a day. Crazy. We know.
Durability: Made with a high-impact resistant design and materials the AVEX Brazos AutoSeal Water Bottle is a sturdy piece of equipment. It is 100% BPA free so you can feel safe drinking out of it. We’ve certainly had ours on weekends out camping and we’re not particularly careful with our gear, so if it can stand up to our abuse – it should be able to handle yours.
Weight: Well it’s a water bottle so it’s never going to weigh 20 lbs, but the AVEX bottle is lightweight and a great shape that fits easily in the side pocket of a backpack or even in some slightly over sized cup holders in cars.
Value: The AVEX. In our book, that is an absolute steal for the one the best water bottles we’ve ever taken a sip out of. The lid and drinking spout is where it is at, with just one push of a button the it opens and you are sipping away on some ice cold water.
