In this camping tip, we show you how to use frozen water bottles in your cooler. It’s simple, just freeze a few small to medium sized bottles of water in the freezer before your camping trip. Next, pack up your cooler using the frozen bottles rather than ice. You’ll be able to pack the frozen bottles around your cooler contents. The other nice thing is that they won’t leak. Somehow, bags of ice always seem to get a hole in them, leaving you with a pool of disgusting cooler water in the bottom. When the frozen water bottles in your cooler do eventually melt, you’ll have ice cold drinking water at that summer campsite.
