Gear of the Year Awards 2016: Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein

The Camping Authority Announces Annual Gear Award for Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein.

A driving force behind the micro-brew craze is the search for authenticity … the roots of beer and ale. With that in mind, Stanely salutes the great German beers and those who enjoy them with the Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein. It combines the the traditional lidded beer stein of Bavaria with thoroughly modern and innovative Stanley design. The stein comes in tried and true Stanley Hammertone Green (or cool looking Matte Black, if you prefer). The latching lid and vacuum insulation keep your beer cold (or whatever temperature you like it) and carbonated for nine hours! Is there anything NOT TO LOVE about the Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein? The 50 Campfires Gear of the Year selection team certainly couldn’t find anything.

This vessel is made for drinking great beer outdoors… that means, around a campfire. The Stanley Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein features a steel inner lid so there’s no plastic contact to taint your fine brew. The 18/8 stainless steel won’t rust and is naturally dishwasher safe … though at our campsites, dishwashers are seldom an obstacle.

Not a beer fan? No problem, the Classic Vacuum Insulated Beer Stein performs just as well on iced cocktails, soda pop, iced tea, iced coffee… really whatever suits your taste.

Thanks to Stanley for another great one! Gear of the Year honors well-deserved. Prost!!!
