Slackers Slackline Kit

Pick Up the Slack with the Slackers Slackline Kit

The Slackers Slackline Kit is everything you need to get started with slacklining. The Slackers Slackline Kit is made of A-grade rugged materials and can withstand a weight of 800 lbs. The kit includes a 50 foot slackline, a bonus 50 foot teaching line and a carry bag. It is built for ages 5 and up and is a great for people just getting started or for experienced slackliners. Slacklining is a great activity to bring to the campsite –  just hook it up between 2 trees and you have entertainment for hours.

What is Slacklining?

Slacklining is a practice in balance that typically uses 1 inch nylon webbing tensioned between two anchor points. It is different from tight-roping because the line does not need to be as taut, and allows for more stretching and bouncing like a trampoline. Slacklining is also different because the tension can be adjusted to accommodate different users. You can even get different types of webbing for certain tricks and jumps. You may be thinking, why can’t I just use a rope? The difference is that slacklining is flat and keeps slackliner’s feet from rolling like it would if it were on a rope. If you have never witnessed slacklining you need to check it out. There are some really impressive tricks and stunts that can be performed, while also being easy for beginners.

Brand 44 was started in 2011 by Edward O’Brien a Colorado native who wanted to create “Backyard Adventures” as recreational activities that family members of all ages and other groups could enjoy out of doors anywhere.
