Two Iberian lynxes in Spain went head to head in what National Geographic España calls “a strange fight.” The two animals growl and and butt heads with each other repeatedly until they finally go for an all-out brawl. When things get serious, the camera cuts off immediately as the humans realize they should get out of there.

National Geographic España says the fight took place in Ciudad Real on the Iberian Peninsula. Iberian lynxes (Lynx pardinus) are endemic to this area of southwestern Europe. These medium-sized wild cats recently moved up from endangered to vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, thanks to conservation efforts.
