Love spiders? Your next travel destination should definitely be to the Sulphur Cave on the border of Greece and Albania . The cave is home to what scientists believe might be the largest spider web humans have ever seen. Sounds like a charming place, right?

“Imagine stepping into a cave so dark you can’t see your hand—and realizing the walls around you are alive,” wrote Live Science in an Instagram post sharing photos and videos of the massive web.

That’s exactly what happened when researchers came upon a behemoth spider web spanning over 100 square meters (over 1,000 square feet). The researchers studied the web, calling it an “extraordinary colonial spider community,” and then they wrote a paper on the discovery.
Scientists estimate more than 100,000 spiders contributed to the web, which exists in complete darkness. (For the record, we don’t actually know if you can visit this cave. But were you really considering it, anyway?)
