The driver called 9-1-1, and then she had to explain the weird situation.
“You may not believe me, but I just had a bald eagle drop a cat through my windshield,” the driver said on the recorded 9-1-1 call, according to AP News. “It absolutely shattered my windshield.”

No one but the bald eagle knows why it dropped the cat, and it’s unclear whether the eagle caught the cat while it was alive, or if it had simply scooped up some road kill. Either way, it’s one of those situations that leaves us all scratching our heads.
