Imagine visiting Stonehenge only to realize you’re there with what would soon become a viral sensation—a black cat. The cat, whose name is Moon, visited the ancient historic site in England with her owner, and other visitors seemed to interpret the cat’s presence as a sign of good luck. Many people reached up to pet Moon as she climbed around on a rock. Several visitors took photos and videos of the unlikely celebrity and posted them to social media, with some of the videos going viral.

One visitor who got up close with the cat (@sziarobi on TikTok) likened the cat to Bastet, and Egyptian goddess, noting the poignant timing, since it was Winter Solstice.
