Beloved bald eagles Jackie and Shadow draw hoards of spectators to their live nest cam every year as they raise young eaglets in California’s Big Bear Valley. Last year, the breeding pair successfully raised Sunny and Gizmo to much fanfare. And it’s all beginning again. Over the past couple of days, Jackie laid the bald eagle pair’s first two eggs of the season.

The live nest cam (owned and operated by the non-profit Friends of Big Bear Valley) will show the process from start to finish—from the parents sitting on the eggs through hatching and, eventually, the new chicks fledging and leaving the nest.
