After over a century of mysterious hanging, Polar Caves’ “mysterious hanging boulder” in New Hampshire fell this week, smashing the walkway. Nicole of wildfernandfield was the first to come across the boulder, which was no longer hanging, and she had to piece together what had happened. Her video has about 5 million views.

“We reported [the fallen boulder], we were the first customers through the park at opening,” Nicole wrote in her Instagram post sharing the video. “In their morning inspection the rock was not like that.”
A press release from Rumny’s Polar Caves Park says the boulder fell on the last day of the season, and no one was injured.
