The Gibbon Conservation Center cares for endangered gibbons like the silvery gibbon (Hylobates moloch). A silvery gibbon born last July at the center is now a little over a year old. His name is Rocky, and the Gibbon Conservation Center shares updates on him frequently. A recent post shows selfie-like photos of Rocky, proving baby gibbon selfies really are the best kinds of selfies.

Rocky is the offspring of Medina and Oula, who also live at the Gibbon Conservation Center. The California-based non-profit center promotes the conservation, study, and care of gibbons through public education and habitat preservation. Also called Javan gibbons, silvery gibbons only live in the western part of the island of Java, Indonesia.
