According to a report from Deadline.com, it will be a “genre-bending” production. The deal will give all members a chance to bring their unique skills to the forefront.

Stallone is in line to be an executive producer through his Balboa Productions company. Grylls is also expected to be an executive producer, representing his production house, Natural Studios. To round out the group, Sharon Levy and DJ Nurre will hold the same titling, representing Endemol Shine North America.

Grylls told the outlet, “It’s a complete honour to be working with the whole team at Balboa Productions. As possibly the most iconic face in the action space, Sly has long brought an injection of adrenaline to his roles and we envisage that energy being channeled into our development.”

His Natural Studios production house was launched in 2019. It has been working on Disney+’s Running Wild as well as the Netflix series, You Vs Wild

Stallone, obviously known for the Rocky and Rambo franchises, has moved resources to behind the scenes in recent years. The company has produced Tulsa King as well as two recent feature films Samaritan and Rambo: Last Blood. Stallone is also a lead character in Tulsa King. The company has also created a documentary, One Night: Joshua vs. Ruiz, that focused on the mixed martial arts genre.

He told Deadline, “My goal has always been to push the envelope not only in life, but in all of my creative endeavors. Nothing is more satisfying than mixing the improbable with the incredible and creating the unforgettable. What we have planned is epic, beautiful and game-changing and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

The project currently does not have a public-facing name nor does it have a release date.
