Turns out Disney dining is so good that even the wildlife are partaking. A family visiting Disney World got a surprise visit from an opossum during their dinner. Rather than being terrified or disgusted, this family took the opportunity to capture the moment on camera.

An Opossum Surprises Disney Diners
A woman named Shay decided to share her special Disney encounter with the world on TikTok. However, it wasn’t a mouse that she met at Disney, but rather an opossum. Shay, her wife, and her in-laws were simply enjoying their vacation in Orlando, Florida, last month.
The family was lucky enough to partake in Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party over at the Magic Kingdom. The party is a ticketed holiday festivity that grants you access to the park from 6 p.m. until midnight for an array of holiday cheer. There are special shows, parades, and, of course, fireworks.
PEOPLE shared that Shay and her family were “participating in Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.” That experience “offered drinks, snacks, and prime seating for the nighttime fireworks and holiday parade.” Additionally, it offered something else as well: a visit from an opossum.
After the fireworks were over, Shay and her family decided to wait it out a bit as the masses began to leave the area. As they were enjoying people watching, this adorable opossum took it upon himself to enjoy the Disney dining.
A Special Disney Guest
The video starts with an iconic shot of the castle before the camera dips down to the dining table. There, the little Disney opossum is digging into some of the guests’ leftovers. It is eagerly licking up what looks like some type of pudding or dessert.
Next, it begins to cautiously walk around the fence lining, eyeing up its next snack location. Rather than being fearful, Shay and her party respected the little critter and gave it its space. Shay decided to name the critter “Crinkle,” but the internet informed her it already had a name.
“Everyone started responding, ‘Oh, it’s Lester,'” she shared with he outlet. “Apparently, Lester is [an opossum] in A Goofy Movie.” Additionally, guests seemed to love the Disney opossum as much as Shay and her family. Here are some of the comments they left under the video.
