First Responders Use Ladder to Rescue Baby Across Raging River

KTLA 5 News shared harrowing footage of first responders rescuing a baby by carefully sliding an infant carseat (with the baby strapped inside) across a fire truck’s ladder extended over a raging river. Heavy rains in California led to the swelling of the South Yuba River in northern California, creating this dangerous situation.
