A black-bear mama denned up under a California home, and, before the homeowners even knew it, she gave birth to three cubs. The little family is still there. The homeowners are cooperating, giving the babies a chance to grow before they must go out and face the world.

“BEAR League CubCam ’26 presents Mama Rose and her new triplets: Echo, Oakley, and Storm!” wrote the non-profit organization, BEAR League, in an Instagram post sharing footage of the family. “Thanks to a very kind homeowner who is tolerating the constant (and very loud!) cub cries, we’ve been allowed to install our noninvasive cameras to watch them grow.”
