A trail cam in Alaska’s Lake Clark National Park shows some monstrously massive brown bears prowling around at night. The trail-cam owner shared a compilation of footage set to unnerving music on YouTube, claiming the “spookiest” bears come out at night.

“We set up a #trailcam on an ancient #bear trail near @NorthWildTravel Brown bear Bay Lodge in #lakeclarknationalpark #alaska during breeding season,” wrote Brad Josephs, who is a professional wildlife expedition guide. “Here is what we got! Some of these secretive nocturnal males are enormous!”

The music in the video sets the mood. While some of the large males do look quite spooky, at one point in the YouTube video, young bears rub against a tree, and it’d be quite a cute moment if not for the foreboding tune. Spooky or not, this footage is a treat to see.
