A tourism company that operates whitewater-rafting tours on the Colorado River claims a Sasquatch sighting, and their video showing a Bigfoot-like creature walking on a hill above the river has circulated widely. But some say it’s a hoax and/or an admittedly brilliant marketing ploy.

Colorado River Expeditions shared the original video on May 26, and they’ve shared several updates on the situation since then. They seem intent on getting to the bottom of the mystery. But is it all in jest?
“Going down the Upper Colorado River on May 24th this is what we saw,” wrote Colorado River Expeditions in its Instagram post sharing the original footage, which attracted over 30,000 likes. “What do you think? Is it Bigfoot?”

Several people in the comments section guess that what we’re seeing in the video is actually just a human in a Ghillie suit. Many people wonder why the person filming doesn’t attempt to zoom up more on the strange creature, and they have a good point. However, Logan from Colorado River Expeditions is convinced and says they want to track this creature down.
