Sure, it’s fun to see snakes in the wild (OK, maybe it’s not fun for everyone), but if you just can’t get enough snakes outdoors, you can always go indoors and do a snake yoga session. Don’t worry, they only use non-venomous snakes.

Jen Zhang recently shared a video of herself experiencing a snake yoga class in Los Angeles, California on her TikTok profile. In the video, she describes how the studio pairs yogis with snakes and what the experience is like.
Zhang says even though she was low-key afraid of snakes at the beginning of the class, after learning how to handle her snake and spending a whole session with it, she felt like she and her snake were best buds. Zhang also claims doing yoga with a snake actually improved her practice. For instance, she says she typically doesn’t have great balance, but when she had a snake wrapped around her shoulders, the stakes were higher, and she didn’t wobble a bit.
This particular snake yoga class at LXR Yoga in Los Angeles costs $160 for up to three people, and then $50 per additional person up to the max of four.
