People across the world felt the immense loss the day that Steve Irwin passed. The wildlife enthusiast captivated hearts around the globe and taught many important lessons. This year marks two decades since his tragic passing, but he has not once been forgotten. On the date of what would have been his 64th birthday, his family decided to honor him with some touching photos.

Steve Irwin’s Family Honors Him On 64th Birthday
Steve Irwin’s family took to the internet to show that while their beloved husband and father is gone from this world, he is never gone from their hearts. This past February 22 would have been the conservationist’s 64th birthday. To celebrate his special day and loving memory, his family shared tributes to him online.
His daughter, Bindi Irwin, shared several throwback photos of herself and her father when she was a child. The photos show images of Bindi, her father, and her whole family together and happy. Of course, the photos also feature incredible wildlife as well. Additionally, she shared this heartfelt caption with her post. “Happy Birthday, Dad. We miss you so much. Grace is so proud to tell everyone that Grandpa Crocodile is her guardian angel. Love you. Forever.❤️”
Her mother, Terri Irwin, responded with love in the comments. She wrote, “Your dad loved you so much, and was a proud girl dad!” Also, she shared her own loving tribute to him on what would have been his 64th birthday. She shared a black-and-white photo of him with a large snake wrapped around him. Then, she shared the following caption. “Today would have been Steve’s 64th birthday. Remembering all the love, laughter, and wonderful adventures. May we all stand together to continue Steve’s important conservation work, and honour his legacy by protecting our precious wildlife.”
The Love Continues
Of course, Robert couldn’t miss the opportunity to honor his father as well. The young conservationist shared a photo of his father holding him as a child. Additionally, he added the following loving caption. “Would have been your birthday today. Love you, miss you…Thank you for being a guiding light and inspiration every day.”
