A viral video showing a misinformed tourist taunting a bison in Yellowstone National Park is resurfacing with some misleading overlaid text. UNILAD is one of the media outlets that recently shared the footage, which is actually several years old, with a text overlay suggesting the person taking the video is the wife of the man putting himself in harm’s way.

In reality, the woman who captured the viral footage, Lindsey Jones, didn’t know the man. She feared for his life, though, as he appeared to try to intimidate the bison off the roadway.

In the original version of the video, there is no overlaid text, and you can hear Jones saying “oh no . . . oh no, no, no, no, no” as the bison does a bluff charge at the man. Thankfully, in the end, the bison decided to move on, and the man was unharmed.
