For approximately 35 years, a Washington woman has been feeding raccoons around her home. In the past six weeks, that decades-old decision has started to come back to haunt her. More and more of the animals have begun hanging around, looking for free food. The situation recently came to a head when a whole posse of raccoons, possibly up to 100 of them, swarmed the woman’s Washington home, and she had to call 9-1-1.

The Kitsap Sheriff Department posted a video on X showing the so-called raccoon invasion, and it’s definitely something to see. In the video, you see raccoons everywhere as a deputy interviews the homeowner. She admits to feeding raccoons for many years but says she’s never seen anything like this.
