WATCH: Bobcat vs. Bobcat in Kern River Campground

The owner of Kern River’s Edge Campground Retreat came across his own personal wildlife drama while driving a truck down a campground road. He spotted a bobcat in the middle of a fight with what turned out to be another bobcat. He stopped his vehicle and watched for a while. So, how did this bobcat vs. bobcat fight shake out? It probably ended differently than it would have had the man not stumbled upon them.

“Special moment today as I drove down my road. Two bobcats going toe-to-toe!” reads the account’s post sharing the video. “They went at it for about 20 mins. The one was finally allowed to get up and walked into off into the road culvert. I’m sure to rest and recover. Wild Kingdom, Kernville-style. Always something special to see.”

The campground is on the Kern River outside of Bakersfield, California. It’s also near Sequoia National Forest, where wild cats like bobcats and mountain lions roam.
