‘WHAT A FIND!’ Woman Finds 2.3-Carat Diamond at State Park

One lucky bride-to-be, Micherre Fox, found a 2.3-carat diamond at a state park in Arkansas, saving her and her fiancé a ton of money, and gaining an incredible story to tell for years to come. The park, Crater of Diamonds State Park, is in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. And Fox is far from the first person to find a diamond there. In fact, people have found over 350 diamonds in the park in 2025 alone.

“WHAT A FIND! Micherre Fox is getting married and wanted to find her own diamond to set in a ring,” wrote ABC7 News in a Facebook post sharing the news. “So she headed to ‘Crater of Diamonds State Park’ in Arkansas, a place known for its gems.”

Incredibly, Fox, a 31-year-old from Manhattan, found the 2.3-carat white diamond on the last day of her three-week diamond-hunting trip, proving hard work does pay off. Fox said she found the gemstone in the West Drain area of the park. Something sparkly caught her eye as she was walking, and it was a diamond.

It’s hard to believe that after weeks of intense searching, she found one right under her feet. Arkansas State Parks says Fox’s gem is the third-largest diamond that someone’s found at the park so far this year.
