500+ Reindeer Cross Fjord in ‘Rare’ and ‘Impressive’ Animal Event

Jérémy Gonçalves is a photographer and dive leader who takes people out on whale-watching trips in Norway. He recently posted about a rare sight that he was lucky enough to witness in person: An entire reindeer herd crossing a fjord as part of the animals’ annual migration.

“Two days ago we were lucky enough to see one of the most rare animal event in the fjord, the crossing of a reindeer herd,” Gonçalves wrote in his Instagram post sharing photos and video of the rare event. “They were 500/600, impossible to count them. They swim fast, it was very impressive!”
