Have you heard of a quoll? Native to Australia, these carnivorous marsupials aren’t big, but they can be fierce. Trail-cam footage caught two of these adorable (but not cuddly) animals having a quoll fight, and Quoll Headquarters says this type of footage is rare.

“It’s breeding season for our quolls!!!” says Quoll Headquarters, a wildlife sanctuary in Australia that protects native species. “This next 10 weeks is when we get all the best footage.”
The organization says one of its trail cams caught a “disagreement” between two quolls that wanted the same carcass. In the footage, you see the two quolls chasing each other at break-neck speed, even slamming into the camera at one point.

All About Quolls
There are four species of quolls in Australia, including the spotted-tailed quoll featured in this trail-cam footage. The Australian Museum says spotted-tailed quolls live in forests and woodlands throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.
