A man’s silly video ended up taking off because he pokes fun at both himself and at outdoor/nature influencers. Unlike those people, who always seem to look put together even though they’ve just hiked a mountain, this wannabe outdoor influencer is more on the normal side.

“POV: You’re becoming the next big nature influencer,” wrote POV Mick in his Instagram Reel that ended up attracting nearly 200,000 views.
The video starts with an unflattering shot of his double chin, then he straightens the camera out and starts to speak before realizing he’s not cut out for this business at all. He then misidentifies some animals in the background.

People in the comments section can totally relate.
“Me trying to take a self at the summit all sweaty and haggard, that camera flip will humble you quick,” wrote one person.
“Me whenever I try to take an ‘adventure’ photo camping/hiking. Like oops nope, just a photo of the landscape will do,” joked another.
Don’t worry, Mick, you don’t have to document your trek for it to matter.
