Bear Lets Itself Into Car at Trailhead and Unapologetically Wrecks It

Friends don’t let friends leave their car doors unlocked in bear country. The latest reminder comes from teerex.flex/Alex G. on Instagram. She realized something was wrong as she and her hiking partner approached the parking lot at what appears to be a trailhead near Lake Tahoe, California. A bear was locked inside their car. The pair worked together to let the bear out, and then they inspected the damage to the Subaru. Alex filmed the whole thing.

The Subaru did not fare well. Some of the windows were busted, the interior was completely ripped apart, and there was even bear pee all over the stuff in the trunk.

“Bearly used Subaru for sale,” jokes one person in the comments section.
