There Was a ‘Rare’ Snowfall in Hawaii—See the Beautiful Photos

Snow in Hawaii before Denver or Boston? AccuWeather confims that yes, it’s true. The 13,000-foot peak of Mauna Kea on Hawaii’s Big Island received a blanket of fresh snow (up to 4 inches) on November 18. Although this peak receives snow every year, many are calling seeing snow on a tropical island a “rare sight,” especially when the snowfall comes earlier than in certain cities on the mainland.
