Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) recently shared a cute trail-cam photo of a lynx kitten and (presumably) its mom out for a stroll in Colorado. CPW calls it “a rare sight to see.”

“Lynx breed in late winter, and after a gestation period of about 9 weeks, females produce a litter of 1 to 4 kittens in May or June,” CPW explains in an Instagram post sharing the photos. “Kittens stay with their moms for about 9 months, after which, they venture out on their own.”
