Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Vermont has been sharing some adorable trail cam videos of baby foxes venturing out of their den. Park officials suggest the kits are about a month and a half old.
In an Instagram post, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park says staff found a fox den and set up trail cameras in hopes they’d spot the babies when they were ready to start exploring outside. Lucky for us, they did.
Turns out, there are eight little kits, and watching them wander around outside for the first time feels like something special. In the trail cam video, you can watch as kit after fuzzy kit pops up out of the den and starts to look around.
One brave kit climbs up the hill, then cautiously makes its way down. Many of the little foxes stay close to mom, who is on high alert as her babies explore.

The park says since there are eight babies, they’ll need help deciding on names for the new family members.
