If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to give an owl a hug, a viral video will make you wonder even more. The video from Kamoliddin Odinaev features an animal that presumably lives at a falconry nursery in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The owl clings onto Odinaev, giving him a big hug as he speaks lovingly to her and strokes the feathers on her back.

The owl appears to be a Eurasian eagle owl, and Odinaev calls her “Sofia.” The two clearly have a close and trusting bond. Odinaev’s account shows several videos of him hugging owls in similar ways.

“Dang now I have to add ‘cuddle with an owl’ to my bucket list,” writes one person in the comments section. And many others share the sentiment.
