I’ve seen it about a dozen times, and I still can’t wrap my mind around it. A viral video shows Ned Daly nearly pummeling a small child upon landing a ski trick. What’s incredible about the video is how Daly appears to see the child at the exact right moment and adjust his legs mid-air to miss the child’s head—and he very narrowly does. Daly lands the trick and immediately looks back to make sure the child is OK.

“Have you seen your child today? Please, please, please tell your children to stay away from landings in the large terrain park. This was way too close,” wrote Daly in his Instagram post sharing the viral video.

Many people in the comments section praise Daly for his quick, split-second reaction time.
“Dodging that kid was the most specially aware and athletic thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” wrote one person.
“SO SCARY!! So glad that skier was next level and the little guy is OK,” wrote another.
