When a man spotted a black bear family on the side of the road, he couldn’t wait to pull over and watch the cute animals. He began filming them, too. The black bear mama and her four cubs peered curiously at the humans in the vehicle, watching and waiting. Eventually, the cubs began to walk away, but the mama bear hung back, and that should have been the moment the spectators moved on.

They didn’t, and the bear lunged. A clear warning to get outta there.
“Bearly made it out alive,” joked Andrew Johnstone in his Instagram post sharing what turned out to be a video showing a bear jump scare.

The video has over 1.4 million views, and many people in the comments section are sharing how the bear scared them, too.
“I flinched so hard I hit my teeth with my hand,” wrote one person.
“Man, I jumped so hard and my heart [is] beating fast,” wrote another. “I just knew that arm was going to be gone.”
