An angler decided to defend his fish against a black bear while fishing in a river, and the video is blowing up online. Jeremiah Mast shared footage of an angler (presumably himself) holding his ground against a bear that tried to come for the fish on his line several times.

“That’ll get your blood pumping,” Mast wrote in his Instagram post sharing the video. “Get your own fish buddy!”

Mast adds that in addition to just wanting to keep his fish, the fish hook likely would have killed the bear.
“Not to mention the fact that fish had a big 2/0 octo hook in its mouth that could have killed that bear if he [ate] it!” he wrote in a comment reply.
