Wildlife photographer Sandesh Kadur was on safari in the Pantanal, a massive tropical wetland in South America, when he spotted a black vulture doing something interesting in the middle of the water. Kadur says his boat guide brought the group closer to see what was actually happening, and that’s when they realized the vulture was attempting to eat the dead carcass of a caiman. The vulture was rolling the floating caiman around and around and around. It looks like the vulture is running on a treadmill.

“The Pantanal treadmill,” joked Kadur in his Instagram post sharing the footage. “A black vulture trying to feed on a dead carcass.”
“Legend says it’s still rolling,” wrote one person in the comments section.
“The actual death roll,” joked another.
