This time of year, bears are looking for food wherever they can get it. In one case, that meant swiping a meal from the inside of a garbage truck. A refuse worker in Whittier, Alaska, thankfully noticed there was a bear in the back of his truck, so he stopped to let the animal out. He recorded the moment the black bear hopped out and went about its business, heading down to a creek like nothing happened.

“A bear known by locals as ‘Chungus’ was released from the back of a garbage truck after a worker says he realized the animal was in the vehicle,” wrote ABC News in an Instagram post sharing the video from Jerry Herrod.
“He jumped off like he’s been on that ride before,” joked on person in the comments section.
