Camping at D.L. Bliss State Park
D. L. Bliss State Park offers their guests 142 different campsites to choose from. These include 69 standard campsites, 72 tent only campsites, and 1 group tent only campsite. The available of the campsites is subject to the adverse and unpredictable weather. The campsites are also available on a first come, first serve basis. It is suggested that guests call ahead to make a reservation. Campers are also advised to bring camping gear and clothing that is appropriate for cold weather conditions.

Amenities at D.L. Bliss State Park
Unfortunately, the campsites at D. L. Bliss State Park do not offer their guests electrical, sewage or water hookups. Some of the amenities and services that the park does offer includes: grills, campsite tables, comfort stations, dump stations, fire rings, hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms, hot showers, and a visitor center. Metal bear resistant lockers are also provided for campers at each of the campsites. Campers are required to store all drinks and food in these lockers.
Things to do at D.L. Bliss State Park
Naturally, the main reason why individuals come to D. L. Bliss State Park is for camping. However, the park also features a number of very popular hiking trails including the Balancing Rock Nature Trail and the Lighthouse Trail. During the summer months, it is also common for individuals to come to the park to enjoy some of the finest beaches in Lake Tahoe.
