Limekiln State Park offers their guests jaw dropping views of Big Sur Coast. It also features beautiful stretches of redwood trees, a rugged coast, and the chance to experience the culture history of the limekilns.

Camping in Limeklin State Park

Limekiln State Park offers their guests a total of 29 different campsites to choose from. The scenery around the park is breathtaking; however, there are a lot of camp rules that visitors must follow. Vehicles are not allowed to drive around the campsite. RVs cannot be larger than 24 feet long. You can only have a maximum of eight campers. You are not allowed to use bikes on the trails. You are not allowed to take dogs on the trails. Wood gathering is not permitted in any of the state parks in California. Also, You are encouraged to pick up after yourself as well as recycle.

The Limekiln State Park offers guests the following amenities: a comfort station, firewood, hiking trails, parking, picnic areas, a ranger station, restrooms, showers, and a waterfall.

Things to do in Limeklin State Park

Obviously, many individuals come to Limekiln State Park for camping. Families with young children appreciate the fact that the campsite has very stricture rules including quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM. Guests also like to come to the park for picnicking, swimming, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Guests are permitted to bring their dogs camping with them as long as they do not take them walking on the trails.
