Camping Rocky Neck State Park in Connecticut

Rocky Neck State Park is the perfect park for families with its beautiful, sandy beach and activities to make every member of the family happy.

Camping at Rocky Neck State Park

Rocky Neck Campground is open daily from May 24 through September 2. Walk-ins only May 3-23 and September 3-30. The campground has 160 wooded and open sites. Nice campsites are available, but fill up fast.

Amenities at Rocky Neck State Park

The park has restrooms, concessions, picnic tables, showers, a dumping station, and a pavilion to ensure time spent visiting and staying at Rocky Neck State Park is a comfortable, enjoyable experience for all. The pavilion offers a nice, beautiful retreat.

Things To Do in Rocky Neck State Park

The Rocky Neck State Park has camping, hiking, saltwater fishing and swimming, night fishing, crabbing, and picnicking. Enjoy the soft, sandy beach with the family or watch the trains for a little excitement. With crabbing, fishing, and night fishing, the park is a great place to cast a line and spend a day under the sun or a night amongst the stars. Diverse trail systems for hiking ensure that the experience is fun and challenging. Rocky Neck features ospreys, cranes, herons, and other waterfowl. Rocky Neck State Park has activities to create a fun, memorable experience for all.
