Honking Car Warns Fisherman About Bison in Yellowstone

This summer, a family visiting Yellowstone National Park captured a close call on video. A bison began approaching a fisherman from behind, and the family correctly guessed that the man, who had his line cast in a river, didn’t see the bison. Kristi Wilt was filming as the family decided to honk their car horn to give him a heads up that the large animal was getting close. The honk worked, and the man moved to another spot before waving “thanks” to the onlookers.

“He was fly fishing and focused [and] he [didn’t] run,” wrote one person in the comments section. “Good job.”
