The grounds of New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado provided the campfire and the stage for great music from favorite local son, singer, and songwriter Michael Kirkpatrick.
As is typical of 50 Campfires “Campfires Sessions” friends, compatriots, customers, and passersby shared Kirkpatrick’s songs and sounds across the glowing, welcoming flames and hoisted a New Belgium brew … or two. It was a special treat to hear from this well-known, widely-traveled modern day minstrel.

Michael has been named “Best Male Singer-Songwriter” by the Fort Collins Musicians Association four years in a row (2013-2016), his 2013 album KEY TO MY CAGE was awarded “Best Colorado Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album of 2013” by The Colorado Sound Fan Poll. In 2014, he was crowned Telluride Troubadour and his 2015 release HONEY RIDER earned a spot in the Colorado Sounds Top 50 albums of 2015. In 2017, Michael will release his 3rd Solo album LITTLE MUSE and The Holler!’s WILDWOOD. Aside from performing as a solo artist, you can catch Michael on stage with The Good Time Travelers, his Folkadelic Rock band The Holler!, Uptown Toodeloo String Band, Blue Canyon Ritual and Littlest Birds.
