We’re big fans of the social media team over at the National Park Service (NPS). Yesterday, for Friday the 13th, NPS shared some “helpful tips,” and even though they’re funny (and most of them are a bit tongue in cheek), they are actually good advice.
“Whether you find yourself in a national park or just facing everyday obstacles, fear not, for we have compiled a list of helpful (debatable) tips to help guide you,” NPS says in its post. “May the odds ever be in your favor.”
NPS’s tips include things like you don’t have to investigate every strange noise outside your tent, even thought it’s tempting. (Was that Bigfoot??). Also, remember, the animals aren’t that cute (i.e., don’t pet the fluffy cows). And whatever you do, don’t let your phone battery die, because you may need it for serious or not-so-serious reasons.
