“Go to Banff, they say . . . It’ll be fun, they say . . .,” joked Anton Haie in a viral video he shared on TikTok. The video shows a massive grizzly bear walking toward some hikers, including Haie, on the Johnston Canyon Trail in Canada’s Banff National Park.

Thankfully, the bear is just passing through. It doesn’t appear to feel threatened or interested in the humans. Still, though, Haie playfully calls it a “near death experience.”

“Wish this was Ai,” wrote Haie in his TikTok post. Haie, by the way, is a professional Canadian football player for the Calgary Stampeders.
