The video, originally from a storm chaser who goes by Rabbit_Is_Good_Rabbit_Is_Wise on X, shows strong winds whipping in the distance, briefly forming into a characteristic stovepipe shape. Early reports say the tornado damaged “multiple structures” and injured one person.

In the tornado’s aftermath, photos and videos of the tornado are popping up on social media, including this timelapse footage on Myers’ Facebook account. He wrote: “Look closely, you can see the broad spinning beneath the strong mesocyclone, and thin rain curtains also spinning. Finally, the wide condensation funnel forms and maintains, while the storm stays very nearly stationary during this first touchdown.”
