One skier is particularly grateful for her friends after she nearly fell from a ski lift in Big Bear, California. Thankfully, she didn’t fall, because her companions caught her and held onto her until they reached safety. Fellow skier Pierce Mayer captured a video of the woman as she dangled from the ski lift, two people firmly holding onto her arms.

The three people in the lift must have been terrified. One of the people hanging onto the dangling skier appears to be bent over at the waist and in a precarious situation as well. The end of Mayer’s video shows the group reaching the end of the lift. Hopefully, they were all able to get off without incident.
