Mariana Cabral went trekking somewhere in Patagonia, and then she saw a very stocky puma on the trail. She took a video of the moment the puma passed by, eyeing her the whole time, and the video went viral on TikTok.

In her caption, Cabral simply wrote: “Surpresa na trilha” or “Surprise on the trail” in Portuguese.
The video of the stocky puma has already drawn millions of views. But it’s the comment section that’s likely keeping folks on Cabral’s page for an extra minute or so. My favorite comments so far include:
“If I saw that I would literally puma pants.”
“See how he stays on the designated trail? Very demure, very mindful.”
