When you go out into the wild, you expect to encounter some wild animals, but what about when you’re grocery shopping or just sitting on a toilet? You don’t expect to find wildlife in those places, but sometimes, apparently, they show up anyway.

Here are six times wild animals showed up in weird and, in some cases, pretty unacceptable places:
6. Massive Monitor Lizard in a Shop

Imagine perusing the local shop for some food and supplies when suddenly, a massive monitor lizard starts climbing the shelving unit. This happened in a Thailand grocery store during the heat of summer, and folks were speculating that it wanted to cool off. The woman who shared the viral video has now made her Facebook profile private, but you can still imagine the shock of shoppers by checking out the screenshot above.
5. Venomous Snake in a Child’s Bed

A venomous red-bellied black snake was hiding amongst the stuffed animals on a young child’s bed in Australia. Thankfully, someone spotted it before bedtime and called in the experts at Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast.
The snake catcher used a snake-hook tool to move the toys and reveal a snake curled up near the child’s pillow. Then, he picked the snake up by the tail with his bare hands and placed it into a large bag. Nighty-night, kids.
4. Reticulated Pythons in the Ceiling
One of the craziest videos I’ve ever seen shows multiple, massive pythons crashing through a ceiling in Malaysia. Based on the location, I’m guessing they’re reticulated pythons, and each snake appears to be 10 feet long or more. Can you imagine?
The people living in this building must have known about the snakes or suspected their presence, because a crew was there to get them out. However, I trust they didn’t expect the massive, writhing animals to fall through the ceiling.
3. Coyote in the Refrigerated Section

I was prepared to see him pull out a opossum or a raccoon. Did NOT expect that pic.twitter.com/4CbaWkjhwy
Remember when there was a wild coyote in the refrigerated section of a grocery store in Chicago? I sure do, because it’s totally weird, and I’m not over it yet. The person who recorded this moment says he expected the wildlife official to pull out a possum or maybe a raccoon. But no, it was a coyote.
2. Bear in the Kitchen
Hide your frozen lasagnas, folks. A black bear once broke into a Connecticut home, found the kitchen, opened a freezer drawer, and helped itself to the contents. After snatching some food, the bear left through an open window, and the backyard camera caught it leaving with the stolen goods. And now this family can say they’ve have a bear in their kitchen.
1.Snake in the Toilet
Once again, we take you to Australia to talk about some unacceptable places snakes show up there. This time, it’s a toilet. A family called for help when it spotted a “toilet python,” and then the snake catcher had to reach into the water and grab it, then work the length of the ropey reptile out of the toilet’s bends with her bare hands. Now that’s dedication.
Have you ever come across an animal in a weird or unexpected place?
