Videos: Hurricane Milton Rips off Stadium Roof, Slams Disney World, Blows Over Crane

Social media is flooded with videos of floods in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which ripped through Florida last night. Milton hit land as a Category 3 storm yesterday, October 9, at about 8:30 PM ET. According to NBC News, at least 10 people died from the tornadoes, flash floods, and high winds. Millions in the region are still at risk from severe weather, and 3.4 million people in Florida remain without electricity.

One bit of devastation a lot of people are talking about is Tropicana Field, aka “the Trop,” where the MLB team, the Tampa Bay Rays, play. Milton ripped off the stadium’s roof, making it look like nothing more than fabric.

Hurricane Milton is here at Walt Disney World! We’re staying safe in our room at the Art of Animation & hope everyone else in Florida is safe too! We’d also like to say a huge thank you to all the cast members who are working through the hurricane and those who kept the Magic Kingdom open this morning! The small queue’s definitely helped distract us! ❤️😂 Trust us to time our vacation during a hurricane! 🌀 #hurricanemilton #wdw #waltdisneyworld #artofanimation #disneyparks #themeparks
